About The Scholarship Programme
The ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship programme is a partnership effort between Maybank Foundation and
the ASEAN Secretariat. This initiative is specifically designed to offer full scholarships to young, talented,
and deserving ASEAN nationals to pursue an undergraduate programme at prestigious ASEAN University Network (AUN) listed universities located outside their home countries within the ASEAN region. In doing so, the programme aims to not only support individual academic pursuits but also to foster intra-ASEAN integration.

About The Scholarship Programme
The ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship programme is a partnership effort between Maybank Foundation and
the ASEAN Secretariat. This initiative is specifically designed to offer full scholarships to young, talented,
and deserving ASEAN nationals to pursue an undergraduate programme at prestigious ASEAN University Network (AUN) listed universities located outside their home countries within the ASEAN region. In doing so, the programme aims to not only support individual academic pursuits but also to foster intra-ASEAN integration.
Eligibility
1. Citizenship from all 10 ASEAN member states.
2. Intending to pursue OR currently pursuing an undergraduate study at presitigous universities outside their own countries but within the ASEAN University Network (AUN) member and associates universities across ASEAN as follows:-
a) Received acceptance letter from universities within AUN member or its associates and obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or its equivalent during foundation studies, OR
b) Currently in first year of undergraduate study at university within AUN members or its associates and maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
3. Strong academic record and active involvement in extracurricular activities.
4. Field of study must be among the approved disciplines for the programme(refer to the list below).

- Internship opportunities & semester break assignment programme at the ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Foundation or Maybank offices regionally.
- Volunteering / participating in Maybank & Maybank Foundation’s existing flagship programmes regionally.
- Certification on Future Ready skills, i.e. programming, coding, design thinking & scrum
Job Placement
Upon graduation, scholars will serve a 3-Year bond at either Maybank, the ASEAN Secretariat
or ASEAN Foundation.
